Cyril Okoi (Cypher) is a Nigerian technology content creator, marketer, and digital storyteller known for producing engaging content on smartphones, consumer technology, smart home devices, and electric vehicles.

Born on 7 June 1990, Cyril attended Broadway Junior School, Apapa for his primary education and Ambassadors College, Festac Town for his secondary education. He later earned a degree in Marine Geology from the University of Calabar.

Cyril’s journey into technology began while studying at the University of Calabar, where he served as a BlackBerry Campus Ambassador for two years. His responsibilities included organizing campus events, promoting BlackBerry products and services, and helping students troubleshoot technical issues with their devices. This experience ignited his passion for technology and consumer engagement.

Following graduation, Cyril was recruited during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year by the media company that managed the BlackBerry Ambassador program. Working in marketing and communications, he gained valuable experience in brand campaigns, event management, and audience engagement. During this period, he worked directly with Adebola Williams, an experience that helped shape his approach to storytelling and communications.

Before transitioning into full-time content creation, Cyril built a career in media, marketing, and communications, working with Dynamix Communications and Information Nigeria. Across these roles, he developed expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, audience growth, and brand communications.

In 2021, Cyril launched his career as a technology content creator, combining his background in technology, media, and marketing to create content that helps consumers make informed decisions. Today, he collaborates with leading technology brands and shares practical insights on emerging technologies, smartphones, smart home devices, and electric vehicles with audiences across multiple digital platforms.
